We have known Sandra at Stems for many years – Rach first met her in the capacity as a wedding and event co-ordinator and quickly learnt that aside from Sandra’s passion for flowers and in particular floristry within the bridal industry she is reliable, creative, professional and extremely knowledgable.

“We believe that listening and understanding to what a Bride/couple wants is key to them being happy with what we provide on their special day. I love to explore and create all sorts of styles be it vintage/country-garden (which is extremely popular at the moment), traditional or modern & contemporary – I love to be creative! We believe giving value for money is extremely important when a couple have a budget that they have to keep within. Even more so in the current financial climate – and we are more than happy to advise on flowers that are seasonal, how to perhaps gain the same effect but with less flowers or a less expensive option.”

We asked Sandra if she has a favourite flower “No! I get excited about all flowers/nature – even a bunch of weeds or the flowers on a stinging nettle to the most extravagant orchid and all thats in between!”

So, where/how do Brides discover Stems of Marsh Gibbon “We are extremely proud to say that the majority of our Brides are from recommendations from friends, family and suppliers we have worked with -you could say we are Oxfordshire’s (I actually live on the Buckinghamshire border!) best kept secret!” Sandra felt we should remove the last comment as it may be a tad big-headed but for anyone that knows Sandra would know this is not the case.
