About Butterfly Bridal

I worked at a bridal shop numerous years ago and from that moment on having my own boutique was my dream. What's not to love about pretty dresses, sparkly accessories and happy Brides!?!?

Following this I had worked at a local hotel, primarily in reception, but 6 months later as conference, events & wedding co-ordinator. It goes without saying that my favourite aspect of the job was the wedding organising. Meeting couples, showcasing the venue, assisting with menu choices, decoration and all the intricate and personal details of the big day gave me a real buzz. I absolutely loved it, despite the long hours, and occasional testing client. In 2010 the hotel had to make redundancies, and although I "escaped", it was a reality check as to what if..... I was lucky enough that my Husband (affectionately now known as Mr Butterfly) encouraged and supported me to start my own business, that it was a now or never. & so Butterfly Bridal Boutique was born.

We opened the doors of our Bridal Shop on Saturday 29th January 2011 at 3-5 Causeway, Bicester, and spent over 3 years at these original premises meeting lots of lovely Brides and assisting them in finding their dream dress.

At the end of March 2014 we moved to our Deans Court premises. The building had been empty for almost 3 years and neither myself or Mr Butterfly realised the extent of work required to turn it from a shell of a building into the luxurious bridal haven it has become.

The boutique has been through many changes since we initially opened and is still making some changes with regards to designers, dress styles, and new exciting events. But one thing remains the same. We believe that choosing your dress should be a memorable and fun experience in relaxed and friendly surroundings.
