Top tips on choosing the right boutique for you

  1. Do your research โ€“ Pinterest and Instagram are an amazing source to look at all the different styles of gowns, different fabrics, necklines and sleeves
  2. Create a Pinterest board of your favourite gowns โ€“ you are likely to see a style pattern emerge be it boho, traditional and classic, modern and sexyโ€ฆ. This will assist you with choosing the right bridal boutique for you
  3. Once you have shortlisted a couple of your favourite boutiques take a look at their website and Instagram feed. This will give you an overview of the gowns in their collection and give you a general โ€œfeelโ€ for their boutique and what to expect from your appointment with them
  4. At this current time, we would advise only booking at a couple of boutiques. Travel should currently be kept to a minimum during Covid-19 and all boutiques will have an extensive appointment list to accommodate. To be fair to the boutiques, and to safeguard your health, do your research โ€“ ensure they have the style of gown you are looking for, that their collection is within your ideal spend and that they have the correct protocols in place in line with the government Covid-19 guidelines
  5. Reviews are so important. Our brides feedback means so much to us and will give you an overview of the customer service to expect when attending that particular boutique. You can read our reviews on Guides For Brides, Google & Facebook (we also won the G4B customer service awards in 2019 so, hand on my heart, I promise that Butterfly Bridal will look after you during your bridal journey)
  6. Have a question? Or worried about anything in particular โ€“ be it nervous of what to expect at your bridal consultation, concerned about display gown sizing (donโ€™t be โ€“ we hold up to a size 26 in our sample gowns) or simply want to know more about a particular gown or designer?
